Swallowing a “Pele Tzom” Pill on Yom Kippur

Question

Is it permissible to take, during the fast, a pill called Pele Tzom without water?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

It is permissible to take such a pill, without water.

Since it is intended for healthy people, it is not considered a “medicine.”

Attached is an instruction sheet for taking medications on Yom Kippur.
