Joining a Minyan from the Women's Gallery

Question

Is it possible to pray in the women's gallery, which is ten handbreadths high, and join the congregation?

Answer

It is preferable to go down, but if there are ten people in the women's gallery, it is considered a prayer with the congregation, even if the chazan is not with them.
