Blessing in a Place with a Bad Smell

Is it permissible to bless and pray when there is a smell from socks (wearing slippers) and it doesn't bother him?

If it is a regular smell of sweat, it is permissible.
A strong smell of sweat that bothers people, some say it is forbidden.
