Blessing on Pastries During a Meal

Question

A dish called 'Kariot', which is a type of pastry filled with cream, should one recite a blessing over it during a meal?

Answer

If it is eaten as a dessert, one recites 'Mezonot', but if it is eaten for satiation, no blessing is recited.
