Answers the site's questions within Rav Amram Fried's Beit Ora'ah. How we answer and review answers
Rabbi Israel Cohen received rabbinical smicha "Yoreh-Yoreh" in 2012 in Modiin Illit from Rav Asher Weisfish and Rav Yitzchak Luxenberg. He studied at Yeshivat Be'er HaTorah in Jerusalem, and later continued at Kollel Ahavat Shalom in Modiin Illit. He also completed the program of the Beit Midrash Gavoha LeHoraah "Keter Aram Tzova" in Rishon LeZion, which trains rabbis for practical halachic rulings. He answers halachic questions at the Beit Horaah of the Neot Simcha community and at Beit Horaah Chanichei HaYeshivot in the Achuzat Brachfeld neighborhood, both in Modiin Illit, as well as at Rav Amram Fried's Beit Horaah in Bnei Brak. He specializes in the Orach Chaim (laws of daily life, Shabbat and holidays) and Yoreh Deah (kashrut, laws of family purity and other topics) sections of the Shulchan Aruch. On sheilot.com, Rabbi Cohen is one of the main answering rabbis: he reviews incoming questions and answers users based on the rulings of Rav Amram Fried.
