Maaser Kesafim from a Shopping Voucher

Shalom u’vrachah

If a person receives a credit for a certain sum of money to be used in specific stores, must he give maaser kesafim according to its true value, which is less than the amount from which he actually benefits, since it is limited to a particular store? Or according to the amount from which he actually benefits? Or perhaps he is completely exempt?

There is no need to tithe shopping vouchers that are limited to specific stores. Since the obligation of maaser kesafim is a custom, it was practiced only with actual money, and not with a purchase credit that is limited.
