student crisis
Question
What SHOULD I DO.
I just got home feom school. Im a psych student, i reported a topic for ny Field methods class.
I have this in me, where i find it difficult to say what I tended to say. My words juggled and leads to confusion in what i say. I am aware of that so before starting i was so nervous, and was panicking.
When it was my turn, i don't know how to effectively let my other classmates understood the topic well. So i was giving them na definition at first and would just keep coming back and forth at my slides that i prepared until they can understand.
my teacher interrupted, criticizing my slides. Itwas okay for me. I was focusing on what i was intending to do, so i was uhm fastly forwarding the slides. Since my plan is just to go back if I'll explain something.
But she keeps interrupting saying ," No don't skip it yet! why do u keep in doing that?!"
it made me even nervous, leading to me misprouning the words badly. And she then corrected it and made a small joke but it made me embarrassed and be nervous even more.
She said something like " This topic is important and you need to convey it effectively. I will give a test fir this topic soon for this is important but the reporters kinda.... hope she'll convey it good"
I feel dumb. I DON'T WANNA FEEL THAT WAY. WHAT SHOUT I DO
Answer
Shalom!
Although this website is for questions in Jewish law, I would suggest you speak to your teacher in a respectful way and share with her your feelings and I think that will help.
