Evil spirits / bad energies or coincidence?

Hi Rabbi, hope you're well. But I have a question, I fear that a dark spirit may be, God forbid, present around me recently because of my struggles in overcoming sin perhaps which I'm not giving up on of course, but I've started noticing roaches everywhere in the kitchen, one day on my window curtain near my bed I had one on my curtain near my bed where I sleep where I killed it once? Is there a possibly spiritual symbolic dark energy present because of sins I've done perhaps until I fix them, or perhaps I've done bad so much that that's the case, or it's just a mere coincidence you think, therefore reasons behind roaches present could be just simply due to poor cleaning habits as I clean my home with my family as clean as possible. And if it can be a bad spiritual energy present, can something be done? Am curious on your take Rabbi? Perhaps I may be overexaggerating I hope.

We feel that you might be over-exaggerating the situation. There is no such things as "dark energy" and the like.

G-d only desires to bless us and do good for us. And the best way to merit this blessing is to study the Torah and perform mitzvot. Be sure to strengthen yourself in these areas and we are sure that you will see blessing in your life!
