Prospective convert from West Africa ‌

Question

Hello, I am writing this message from West Africa. I have asked some questions on "Quora.com" if it's possible for me to convert to Judaism but I couldn't get a concrete answer on the possibilities. I went on Google on how to contact a Rabbi and I got to this page. If am on the right page, I'd love to ask same question here. Is it possible for me to convert to Judaism? Thanks!

Answer

Shalom,

Every individual has the opportunity to convert to Judaism. Your first step should be to locate the contact information of a rabbinical court specialising in conversions. The court will guide you with further instructions.

If there is no Jewish community in your current location, I recommend seeking out a place with an established Jewish community that can offer proper guidance.

Wishing you the best of luck on your journey.
