Young Daughter in the Synagogue

Hello,
Can a person bring his young daughter to prayer in the synagogue, and if so, until what age?
And if so, why is it not common and not often seen?

In principle, it is permitted until the age of 3.
It is probably not customary to bring girls at all, so they do not get used to coming at an older age.
