Deception while Persuading a Buyer

Question

I am trying to sell an item, the price of which is not at all fixed, and the range of prices at which one can find buyers is very large. Can I lie to a buyer, claiming that I have found someone who will buy it from me at a higher price, in order to convince him to buy it from me? It should be noted that the price at which I am claiming to have found a buyer is very reasonable. Thank you.

Answer

Greetings,
It is forbidden to lie to the buyer.
It is permitted to say that there are many who are willing to pay the high price.
