Concern of Forgetfulness with a Broken Tray

A serving dish divided into three sections, intended for serving salads, has a crack in one of the sections. Is it permissible to use it, or does it lead to forgetfulness?
Answer
Since this item is not used for eating but only for serving, there is no need to be concerned about it.
