Karet Before Age 20

Question

Hi, is there a punishment of karet before the age of 20? (The Rambam writes that there isn't, and the Chida writes that there are no punishments at all before the age of 20) What is the ruling?

Answer

There is a significant discussion on this matter. 

Besides the Rambam you mentioned, Rashi also writes similarly in Bamidbar 16:27.
