Purchasing Shemitah Fruits in Large Quantities

Question

The Otzar Beit Din sells packages of dates with Shemitah sanctity in quantities of 1 kilogram. I do not finish a kilogram in a week. Is it permissible for me to buy in such a quantity?

Answer

Since it is customary to buy dates in packages of a kilogram, it is permitted.
