Crops East of Ein Yahav
Question
Is it permissible to buy lettuce from greenhouses east of the Ein Yahav stream?
Answer
If it started growing before the Shemitah, it can be eaten. However, it is preferable not to buy from there initially. If it started growing during the Shemitah, it is forbidden.
