Charging a Phone in the Synagogue

Question

Is it permissible to charge a phone in the synagogue?

Answer

There is an issue: a. Theft. b. Respect for the synagogue. Therefore, it is forbidden inside the synagogue. Outside, it is allowed only if one is studying and charging helps him study. Otherwise, one should pay the synagogue.
