Secular Work in the Beit Midrash

Hello,
A person has a Beit Midrash near his home, and he is a global employee who needs to work X hours a day. If in the afternoon his wife is with the children at home and he needs to work an additional hour, can he work from the Beit Midrash using the computer he received from work?

It is forbidden to perform secular work in the Beit Midrash.
