Returning from Medical Treatment on Shabbat

Question

Is it permissible to return with a non-Jewish driver on Shabbat after a suturing treatment for a baby under two years old?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

When the baby has a need for this, such as the food he is used to, the ability to sleep and rest properly, and the like, it is permissible to return by means of a non-Jew. This is because all the needs of a small child are considered the needs of a sick person.
