Shabbat: Drops for Softening Earwax
Question
Is it permitted on Shabbat to put drops into the ear that are not for healing but only to soften the earwax, so that it will come out easily and without pain?

Drops that are intended only to moisten the earwax and not for healing are permitted on Shabbat.
