Work of a Non-Jew Close to Shabbat
Question
In a furniture store, an Arab carpenter was hired to assemble a bookshelf for display, and he can come on Friday from two to four. The Arab lives in Shechem and can return before Shabbat. Is it permissible to call him for this time?
Answer
It is permissible. Because it is allowed to perform work on Friday through a non-Jew.
