Future Planning on Shabbat

Hello,
is it permissible on Shabbat to discuss plans for a holiday? For example, where will we be on a certain holiday? What are the advantages of each place, etc., and how should one respond if the wife asks the husband about it?

Hello
It is permissible to talk about plans that do not involve violating Shabbat.
It is also permissible to say 'we will go to such and such a place', even if the intention is to travel there.

Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim, Siman 307, סעיף 1
And speak not (Isaiah 58:13): that your speech on Shabbat should not be like your speech on weekdays; therefore, it is forbidden to say: 'I will do such and such a thing tomorrow' or 'I will buy such and such merchandise tomorrow'.

(1) I will do tomorrow - specifically if it is something that is forbidden to do on Shabbat
