Crying during prayer on Shabbat

Question

Is it permissible to cry during prayer on Shabbat?

Answer

If the crying during prayer is due to troubles and difficulties, it is forbidden, but if it is due to a feeling of closeness to Hashem, it is permitted. Additionally, if the crying will lead to relief and alleviation of sorrow, leniency can be applied.
