Gifting Through the Wife
Question
I want to give a gift to someone I will meet on Shabbat. Can I transfer it to them by having my wife acquire it for them before Shabbat?
Answer
Ideally, the transfer should be done through a third party, but in a situation of necessity, it can also be done through the wife.
