Writing with Challah Baked in the Shape of Letters

Question

We have a celebration, and challahs were made in the shape of different letters. Is it permissible on Shabbat to place the challahs next to each other to form different phrases such as 'Mazal Tov', the names of the celebrants, and the like?

It is forbidden.
