Concern of Tent Formation on Shabbat with a Hat

Is there an issue with a Shabbat hat not having a width of one tefach due to the concern of forming a tent?

Answer

Many are lenient in this matter, but it is more commendable to ensure that the width is less than 9.6 cm.
