Picking Fruits from a Dried Tree

We have a tree in our yard that has completely dried up this year, but it still has fruits on it. Is it permissible to pick them on Shabbat?

Hello Rabbi,
Even though the tree has completely dried up, as long as it is connected to the ground, it is forbidden to pick fruits from it on Shabbat.
