Wearing a Watch with a Battery on Shabbat
Question
In a wristwatch with a battery, is it permissible to wear it on Shabbat, considering it as a utensil whose primary use is prohibited or as muktzeh?
Answer
It is permitted because the battery is not primary and is only replaced infrequently.
