Carrying a Phone for Use as an Alarm Clock

Hello, is it permissible to carry a phone on Shabbat from one house to another for use as an alarm clock? Thank you very much in advance and happy holiday.

It is permissible. It is an item whose primary use is prohibited, but it is allowed to carry it for a permitted use.
