Magnifying Glass with a Light

Question

I have a magnifying glass with a light. Is it permitted to use it on Shabbat if one covers or wraps the switch?

Answer

 Shalom rav.

If the light is significant and primary, the entire object is muktzeh, and it is forbidden to move it.

However, if the glass is the primary component, it is permitted to move the utensil, and one should make a reminder so that he will not turn on the light.
