Mineral that Restores Taste and Smell on Shabbat

Question

There is a certain mineral that restores taste and smell. Is it permissible to use it on Shabbat?

Answer

For Ashkenazim, it is forbidden, and they should mix it with food before Shabbat, while for Sephardim, it is permitted.
