Pumping Milk on Shabbat

What is the ruling regarding a manual pump? Is it permissible to pump on Shabbat for a baby who might be teething and does not want to nurse, only feeds on breastfeeding?

Since this is her food, it is considered a matter of life and death, and it is permissible to pump for her.
