Lighting Shabbat Candles with Electricity

I am hospitalized and unable to light candles. Can I turn on the light and recite the blessing over it?

You can turn on a regular light in the room and recite the blessing. This can be done with an incandescent bulb, a fluorescent bulb, or an LED bulb.
