And if she needs to make Kiddush, can she do it over mezonot in the evening?
Answer
Shalom Rav
She should make Kiddush for herself and eat a kezayit of bread or a kezayit of mezonot [cake, cookies, etc.].
If this is not possible for her, and it involves severe pain, she may drink before Kiddush.
