Eating Ice Cream in a Cone Instead of Kiddush

Question

Is eating ice cream in a cone after Kiddush considered fulfilling the requirement of Kiddush in the place?

Answer

If one intends to eat the cone as well and blesses over it, it is effective. However, if one does not intend to eat the cone and does not bless over it because it is not tasty to him, it does not help.
