What is the significance of baking challah at home for Shabbat?

Hello, there are two aspects to this. A. It is more honorable for Shabbat to knead and bake in honor of Shabbat yourself. B. It serves as a rectification for the sin of our mother Eve, as Jewish women separate challah. Since the sin occurred on the eve of Shabbat, it is customary to separate challah on the eve of Shabbat.
