Washing Pots to Keep the Kitchen Clean on Shabbat
Question
Is it permissible to wash pots to keep things clean and pleasant?
Answer
If a person is in the kitchen and the pots are in the way [and washing them is easy] and it is not possible to move the pots elsewhere, it is permissible. However, these conditions are generally not met.
