Working on Shabbat with the Elderly
Question
Hello, I received a job offer at an organized place with promotional and economic prospects. It is a senior living facility. As part of the job, once every 3 months, I need to come to the workplace for Friday dinner and Shabbat morning meal to ensure everything is running smoothly: no manual labor, no phones, no cooking on Shabbat, just sitting and observing that everything is as it should be. I wanted to know if this is permitted?
