Cleaning dried tahini on Shabbat

Question

May one clean a countertop from tahini that has dried on it? Is there a concern of the prohibition of grinding, or perhaps another issue?

Answer

Shalom and blessings.

It is permitted to clean it.

There is no prohibition of grinding in this, since tahini is made from sesame seeds that have already been ground, and there is no grinding after grinding.

Likewise, there are no other prohibitions involved.
