Question
Is it proper to take a loan for the purpose of installing a Shabbat generator (kosher electricity), even when I do not know how I will repay it?
Is it appropriate to connect the air conditioners as well to kosher electricity for Shabbat, or is it sufficient that the lighting and the plata (Shabbat warming surface) operate on kosher electricity? How much effort must one make for this?
When calculating the electricity consumption required for the generator, is it necessary to include all the electrical appliances in the home, even those that are used on Shabbat only very rarely, or should one calculate only the usual consumption of a standard Shabbat? In the case of an unusual Shabbat with many guests, may one then use the electricity of the electric company?

Answer
Shalom u’vrachah
The ruling of our teacher Rabbi Amram Fried shlita:
It should be arranged so that all electrical appliances are on the generator on Shabbat.
And Shabbat expenses are repaid.
