Carrying a Phone on Shabbat
Question
Is it permissible on Shabbat to carry a phone when there is no prohibition of muktzeh, or should one be concerned about the signal indicator changing during carrying and the reception itself changing from place to place?
Answer
For these reasons, there is no prohibition on carrying, but in practice, one should avoid carrying due to it being a weekday activity.

It is not convenient to carry with such changes, and it is not a psik reisha that it will change.
