Havdalah for a Bar Mitzvah on Motzei Shabbat

Question

My son becomes a Bar Mitzvah on Motzei Shabbat. Is he obligated in Havdalah then, or since he was a minor on Shabbat, is he not obligated?

Since he is considered an adult on Motzei Shabbat, he is obligated in Havdalah.
