Reciting 'Baruch Hamavdil' When Needing the Bathroom

He said Baruch Hamavdil between holy and mundane and needed to use the bathroom. Can he perform work?

He can perform work. However, ideally, he should not say it when his body is not clean, as this statement permits him to perform work.
