Invalid Eruv - Carrying on Shabbat

Hello, A person who has an Eruv Chatzerot in his building relies on the neighborhood Eruv for its validity but does not rely on the fact that there is no non-Jew or public Shabbat desecrator living in the neighborhood. Should he place the baby stroller with the items he wishes to carry into the yard from his house door, so that he can carry it throughout the neighborhood?

Indeed, if he takes the stroller out before sunset on the eve of Shabbat, he will be able to carry it within the boundaries of the partitions on Shabbat
