Listening to a Recording Made on Shabbat

Is it permissible to listen to rebroadcasts of security events that were aired on secular media channels on Shabbat?

According to the instructions of the Gaon, Rabbi Amram Fried, shlita,

a recording that is not intended for paid listening is permissible to listen to after Shabbat.
