Question: If I am not allowed to light Shabbat candles in the living room, may I light them in my room?

Answer
Shalom u-vracha
Although ideally one lights the candles in the place where one eats.
If it is not possible to light them in the place of eating, it is permitted to light the candles with a beracha in the room where one sleeps.
