Kilayim of Seeds in Pots

Question

Shavua tov to the honored Rabbi,
I received seedlings of several types of vegetables together in one bag. Have they become prohibited, and what should be done with them? In addition, at home I separated them, leaving a distance of about 15 cm between the pots. However, someone in the household moved them closer together, and they remained that way for a long time until I noticed. I would also like to know whether the distance of one and a half tefachim is measured from the pot or from the stem.
What is the halachic status of aloe vera? And of herbs?

 Thank you, Rabbi.

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah.

There is no problem with the fact that they were together in one bag.

The required distance is 15 cm between one stem and another. [And not between one pot and another].

If they were brought close together by mistake, they do not become prohibited, and they should be moved apart to the proper distance.

Aloe vera and herbs should be distanced by the amount stated above. [Grains and legumes require a greater distance].
