Placing Mezuzahs in Part of the House

Question

I am moving into a new apartment tomorrow, and I don't have enough mezuzahs. Is it okay to place them only at the entrance and in the bedroom, and not throughout the entire house?

There is no permission for this, except in a case of absolute necessity.
