Slander about a Teacher

Sometimes it happens that a teacher gives a lot of material for an exam. Then the students get annoyed and say to each other that he gave us a lot of material and it's not nice, etc. Is there an issue with this in terms of slander or something else?

Hello,
Saying 'he gave us a lot of material' is permitted, as there is no disparagement in it.
However, saying 'it's not nice' is disparaging and forbidden.
