Slander for Benefit
Question
Is it permissible to speak slander if there is an urgent need in matchmaking and the like? Also, is it permissible to speak slander about a boy with the yeshiva staff if the boy is corrupting other boys in an exceptional way and violating the yeshiva's boundaries?

It is permissible to speak negatively about a friend, according to the boundaries of Halacha.
For example, certain things must be said in matchmaking, but this is not a blanket permission to say everything. It is obligatory to first learn the relevant laws, and in case of necessity, consult a rabbi.
A boy who corrupts other boys, it is certainly permissible and even a mitzvah to inform the yeshiva staff about what he is doing. However, it is essential to accurately state what exactly happened, without additions stemming from anger, and without personal interpretations. Only the act that was done, and nothing more.
