Negative Remark About Daughter

Hello,
When a person tells his wife about his daughter that she is "without boundaries," is this considered lashon hara, and if the daughter is nearby, is it considered public shaming?

It very much depends on the manner and timing of the statement.
Sometimes it is something that needs to be said, and sometimes it is a statement with unnecessary harm.
